Chase bought WAMU giving me 3 accounts instead of 1. They recently raised the interest rates on all 3 cards...one to over 20%!! Thank God I was able to just pay them off before the rate increase took effect. I still feel as if Chase is using the current economic climate to financially rape the working poor and discourage everyone from doing business with them!!

I had a business card with Chase with a $10,000 limit at 8.9%. I transferred all of my balances to that card, and then Chase decided to raise my interest rate to 15.99%. I have never been late on a payment or gone over my limit. Way to go, guys... Thanks for screwing me over!

I had 2 cards with Wamu. One had a 4500 credit limit the other had a 3750 credit limit. The 4500 had a balance of roughly 350. The other had a balance of 3000. Chase canceled both of them stating the balances were too high and that my credit score was too low. Just bought a house in February and have a fico of 690, not sure who or what they consider a good credit risk.

Jacked up my interest rates after they bought out Wamu. Mailed a check for a payment on a card and they lost it. I wound up getting stuck paying their stupid last minute payment fee that they refused to refund even though THEY lost the check. I would have closed my accounts but didn't want to hurt my credit score, so I just cut the cards up instead. Beware.

I had a Chase card, was making more than minimum payments. Only had a balance of $490 on a $1000 credit limit. Raised lowered my limit to $300, which put me well over. Also raised my interest rate to 24.99% from 9%.
