100 points hit on my credit score for nothing
Credit Karma Member

Transferred 5k of my credit limit to this card to avail of the 0% APR for 18 mos. I was assured that I'll be able to do it. They pulled my credit approved the transfer of the credit limit then told me my balance transfer request is denied. Avoid this card.

High limit - zero interest first 6 months
Credit Karma Member

They gave me a high limit and great interest. I set my account up for auto pay. 6 months into it they have lowered the limit to a third of original. Reason? I am not making a high enough payment in respect to the balance??? So you use the card and make monthly payments and then they hit you. Ridiculous.

Declined, but why?
Credit Karma Member

I have another WF card in good standing with a 0 balance. CK said I had an excellent chance at getting approved. Declined without a reason. Got another 0 interest card with a $10000 limit - approved in 3 minutes. Oh, well WF - See ya!

CLARITY ON MORTGAGE PAYMENT INCLUSIVITY
Credit Karma Member

If you have a mortgage and you also make escrow payments towards property taxes and house insurance that is not taken in consideration towards ability to pay and you could be declined. Called them to Decline the offer. They are not thorough about what information they are requesting to make decisions. Agent I spoke when I called them after receiving a confusing email did not seem especially knowledgable either. Forget THAT.
