Paycheck Advance
Money Access Services, Inc. (“we,” “us,” “MAS”), a Delaware corporation with its principal place of business located at 1100 Broadway, STE 1800, Oakland, CA 94607, accessible online at creditkarma.com and through the Credit Karma mobile app. We provide technological assistance to facilitate the Paycheck Advance service in partnership with our partner bank. This optional product is available exclusively to Credit Karma customers who have a Credit Karma Money (“CKM”) Spend account and receive regular Direct Deposits. The general structure of the program involves our partner bank advancing funds from an account owned and controlled by our partner bank into the customer’s CKM Spend account. Customers can repay the advance by authorizing our partner bank to deduct the amount from their incoming Direct Deposits. Enrolling in Paycheck Advance does not require a credit score check, and use of the product will not affect a customer’s credit score.
We do not fund the advances, make credit decisions, or issue approvals on behalf of our partner bank. Our partner bank is the party directly contracting with and providing the Paycheck Advance to the customer and is responsible for regulatory oversight and compliance. MAS is responsible for the consumer-facing interface, marketing, and hosting the onboarding process for the service.
