Reply Cancel ReplyI had esurance for a number of years. Their rates were very good at first, but degraded over time to be none too competitive (though I've had other insurers do the same thing). "
The website also degraded, making you call for more things, and their phone service is none too helpful, with long wait times, calls unreturned, etc. "

Reply Cancel ReplyBe Careful, some states, like PA, do not allow internet-based insurance. "

Reply Cancel ReplyPA does allow internet-based insurance. I currently have e-surance. They have usually, not always, offered the best rates. Their claim service is terrible though. Always shop for rates though. "
I've found Geico's claim service to be amazing(Someone rear ended me and had Geico. Geico called me and scheduled my rental car, and my car repair before e-surance claims even returned my call.) "

Reply Cancel ReplyI have heard nothing but bad things about Esurance's ability to handle themselves in court. They lost an open-shut case that my former roommate was involved in (other driver was at fault, rear-ended him) and then jacked the rates. I've also heard bad things from several attorneys that deal with them. They may be cheap, but it would appear the savings result in a garbage legal team. "

Reply Cancel ReplyHo-hum, another auto insurance company that will save me HUNDREDS of dollars for (you guessed it) switching to their company. After you spend the time to enter all of the required info, you will discover that you've wasted your time. Or you might get lucky. Feelin lucky? This might be YOUR lucky day. Or not. "

Reply Cancel ReplyI AM WITH E SURANCE AS WELL SAVED ABOUT 250 PER MONTH DUE TO MY HUSBAND BEING A YOUNFG DRIVER (21 AT THE TIME ). THEY ALSO GIVE YOU LOWERED RATES WHEN YOU SWITCH INSURANCE PROVIDERS. WE SWITCHED FROM PROGRESSIVE WHO BILLED US AROUND 300+ PER MONTH..... WE PAID 145 FOR THE FIRST 6 MONTHS WITH ESURANCE, AND AFTER ONLY 6MONTHS OUR RATE WAS LOWERED TO 125 PER MONTH .... THIS IS FOR FULL COVERAGE AUTO INSURANCE!!!! INCLUDING RENTERS COVERAGE ...... FOR A FIRST TIME CAR OWNER AGE 21.... CANT BEAT THAT WITH A STICK LOL. "

Reply Cancel ReplyI deal with Esurance. You may want to check with larger carriers at the time you purchase home, motorcycle, RV, etc. Esurance does not write anything other than Auto Insurance. Good luck with their claims service, as noted above. They are not the most reputable company in that dept. "
