Approved with a score of 580!
Anonymous Cardholder

I was approved almost instantly with a score of 580.

I also have student loan defaults on my credit report (but as of last year it's been in good standing).

The line I was offerered was 500, this makes sense since I was just approved for CapOne Quicksilver One as well for a 500 limit and have a CapOne Platinum card with a 2,300 dollar limit.

Their site is easy to navigate, and well designed. It didn't feel at all sketchy or poorly done like some other sites for credit card companies that are designed to help you get your score back up.

Bad reviews are not true!

It is not true that you can't get this card with less than a 600 CS. My credit score is 562 and I was approved quickly. They already had my info from a loan application (that I did not get approved for, by the way), so the only thing I had to fill in was my social security number confirmation. I instantly got the, "You're approved for a $300 credit limit". I didn't even have to upload and documents for proof of income and such. I was excited because it has been 8 years since I have been approved for any card. I made horrible decisions with credit as soon as I turned 18 and I am making up for it now. I thought fingerhut was my only saving grace, until I logged into Credit Karma this morning and saw the recommendation for the L card. I immediately applied and I am so thankfl that they approved me. I will not revert to the bad credit decisions from when I was 18. This is my second chance!!
