I opened an account with this bank weeks ago and after weeks of depositing money in this account they tell me they can't verify my address and a cashiers check I deposited in the account they can't verify so they blocked my account and won't give me access to my money... I am going to contact the better business bureau to see if this is legal.. I will be closing this account
A few days after I applied for the loan I received an email stating that Nationwide required a few more documents (i.e W-2s, paystubs) before I could be approved. I submitted the required documents, and finally after a week of waiting, I called customer service only to find out that they claimed I never sent them the documents. Understandably, I re- submitted the documents reassuring that they were received the second time. After another week of waiting (2.5 weeks after original loan application) I called customer service again only to be told that my documents were not received ( I have receipt confirmations for both times I submitted my personal documents). My credit score at the time was 782 both Equifax and Transunion. Now my credit score has a hard inquiry for no reason since I decided to take my business elsewhere, and my personal info may be compromised. The Underwriter department of Nationwide is careless with personal documents. They were unable to track my documents even after I submitted them multiple times. (Even though I have receipt confirmations.) I would not recommend Nationwide to anyone!
