Comcast is the worst company ever! I have had so many problems with them to the point where I was ready to take legal action against them. Once I cancelled my service they tried to charge me for services I didn't have and tried to tell me I owed them for my cable modem when I purchased it from Best Buy!

Their Digital Voice service has good quality, but doesn't compete very well with Vonage or other VoiP services. I signed up for it initially to get a better deal when bundled with cable and HSI but dropped it to save money.

Comcast spams me with mail 1 to 3 times WEEKLY to sign up for their stupid VOIP.

Their phone service is just their same cable modem box, but you can plug a phone into it. That's it. It's the same thing you can get from Vonage or MagicJack for cheaper. And Vonage has 311 and 911 service redirection just like Comcast.

It's a big waste of money. I also canceled my digital TV with Comcast because the content is so horrible. They don't carry 24-hour news anymore on basic digital (CNN and Fox News are mostly stuffed with human-interest shows), and you have to pay extra to get see full NHL games and get Bloomberg TV [I can watch Bloomberg TV over the Internet for free].

Comcast is a joke. The only thing I have left with them is Internet, which I upgraded to 50Mpbs service after dumping the $100/month TV plan.
