What are Medallion Qualification Miles? Is Delta in danger of going out of business?

Medallion Qualification Miles (or MQMs) are Deltas points you earn towards frequent flyer status. 25000 MQMs gets you silver, 50000 gets you gold, 75000 gets you platinum. Besides flying Delta or its partners, the only ohter way to earn MQMs is by one of the special Amex/Delta cards that offers MQMs.

I have a poor credit score 588. Amex has turned me down in the past due to my credit.

CreditKarma has labeled this Delta Reserve (amex) card as HIGH recommended with my credit score. Does this mean that this card has a good chance of being approved with a 588 score?

And, if so, it is because of the super high yearly fee of $450?

Thanks for any insight.

That credit is not right for this card. Try Capital One.
