With the Platinum Delta  Skymiles AmEx Card, can we access to the Delta Lounge, in which only limited qualified certain card holers can enter?

Scared to apply... seeing people get the card with worse scores then myself.  718 score here but I'm young. I applied for another AM-X card a year ago and was rejected. I don't want any more hard inqurires on my account. 

If anyone in the age area of 23 and has the score around 718, gets approved... leave some feedback! Not sure if age matters but I'm trying to see if it matters with Am-X

4/8/11 Just got approved for this card. Credit Karma score of 655. 

Prior to getting approved for this card I currently hold and have held for the last 4 months, "The green card" and "Blue" From amex.

@mariposa Plat is harder to get than Gold. I want this card too but I am waiting to build my credit. Amex is picky.

Denied with a 739 score. Did they want my first-born child too? And not for nothing, but I know a few people with much worse scores than mine that have Platinum and even Gold Amex cards.
