I have old unpaid credit cards and medical bills. Should I pay them or wait for them to fall off?
I'm confused about the date that an old debt falls off. I've heard that the time ticks from the last activity so I am concerned that if I pay an old bill, the clock will start again for another 7 years. Also, there are some bills that are older than 7 years but still show because of collection activity. Can I get that off?
