Can't get a credit card
I'm 21 years old, a junior in college, with two part time jobs, estimated 8-10k a year. I have one past account with 100% on time payments, thought I'm not entire sure what that account was, my best guess is an electric or internet bill, based on the number if payments. And one $50medical bill(xray after being rear ended) that went to collection because the insurance compant was dragging their feet. So my credit history is very very limited but there is something there. However, I've failed to get approved for any student cards. I've applied for the Discover student card and the capital one journey card. Aswell as an amazon and best buy card, however those two were poor decisions. Why in the world would I be declined for the student cards particularly the capital one card which I've seen people approved for that with an empty credit report?
