is it possible to find out when a credit card company reports your credit to the bureau each month
I heard that they report on the closing date of your statement is this true?

It depends the creditor. Some report on or around that date, some don't. But, what I have found is that if you have this pull your score each day during the month, you can determine when which does by looking at the changes in your balances.

Not all do. One of mine does. One reports on the 30th of every month. Another is in the middle of the statement. I suggest getting an actual credit report from the credit reporting agencies (Transunion, equifax, experian). They will have listed a date of reporting for each account.

I once called up a few of my creditors about this, and every company is different, you can ask your creditor they will give you the info. (one answer that I have recorded, Discover said they report it the Friday following the cycle closing date)
