I have a chase freedom card with $5000 limit but they report a credit limit of zero to the bureaus
Good question? +1 Vote for this

My total available credit with this card is about $10,000 - so my credit score is being based on only half of my available credit - this affects my credit utilization rate and also hurts my score because my other credit lines are around $500, so I have all low lines of credit only. The bureaus just say we report whatever the banks tell us, and Chase says since they may allow me to go a little over $5000 without penalty, it technically isn't a credit limit, but a credit access line. Has anyone else had to deal with this insanity?

get in contact with chase again and let them know that they are messing up your credit report by them not reporting the correct information, sure they would love for you to go beyond your limit for they can hit you with extra charges, be very carefull do not be happy with what the customer service people tell you. i have had to talk with the upper head people to get some thing done the right way, keep on fighting this thing and good luck. what i mean upper head for example president of a bank or two.

Hi Stevesscore, Did you have any luck getting your credit limit reported? After receiving a 3-in-1 credit report, I noticed thank Bank of America hasn't reported my credit limit to any of the credit bureaus. Like you, this hurts my overall credit utilization and I would like my limit reported. I'm hesitant to call, just to be blown off. Curious to see how your situation turned out. Thanks
