Secured Cards, To carry a balance or not?
I have a thin file. I was approved for a secured credit card to start the "road to credit". I have been reading mixed reviews on how to go about establishing good credit with the secured card. Everyone agrees that staying under 30% utilization is critical but where people divide is between carrying a balance and paying in full.

Some people say to always carry a small balance from month to month so that some interests builds and the bank is more likely to increase your limit.

Others say that paying the balance in full is the best way to go about it.

Which is most beneficial to someone brand new to credit cards and building credit?
