It is hard to get someone to take a chance on you initially when it comes to credit.   Most everyone wants to see a track record and as you are just starting out, your field is pretty clear.   You need to be the first to take a chance on you.   Generate as much liquid cash as you can and make a deposit onto a secured credit card.   Select one with the lowest annual fee, NO monthly fees and one that will convert to an unsecured over time.   Capital One has the best reputation, they have secured cards with various deposits to help you start building credit.   Read other information here on Credit Karma about secured credit cards and ensure you review the reputation of the credit card vendor wisely before you make application.  Within 6 months, you'll see your non-existent score become existent and see steady increases in your credit score.  If you use the card wisely and ALWAYS make timely payments and you will find others will be willing to take a chance on you.   Just remember one thing, this is not FREE money, its money you should be prepared to pay back in full every month.
