You're not providing much information! So it's hard to give any sort of accurate answer. Depending on which state you're in, married debtors can have different laws. In community property states, I believe that marital debts, i.e., debts incurred DURING the marriage, are considered to be a joint responsibility of both spouses. Same thing goes for assets--any assets acquired DURING the marriage are considered to be a 50/50 split if the couple gets divorced. So what kind of account is this: did she open it in her name only? What state are you in? And are you planning a divorce?!
