A car dealer said my credit score is 593, you show it is 645, why is it different?

Heard they say things in order to make you pay a higher rate on a car.... that is what happened to my girlfriend

it depends which credit score they grab it from...there are 3 scores

remember,you can always walk away,those people are there to take as much advantage of you as possible, if you let them.so don't.i hope you walked.

Scores can vary widely based on the credit report that is pulled (TransUnion, Equifax, or Experian) and the algorithm used on the data from the report that is pulled.

My wife shows a credit score of about 680 from one credit bureau, and 573 from another. She is in the process of checking out her credit report from the low score.....most likely an error in there somewhere.

yes unfortunately they do lie. however it is unfortunate that different companies use different scoring systems. Even for the same bureaus report. No universal score sorry.
