How do I stop my credit score from dropping any more?
I am using about 3% of my available credit, I have never missed a single payment in my life (I'm 43), I have a variety of lines (mortgage, credit cards, auto loan, etc.), and yet my credit score is dropping. Granted, it's still considered "excellent" but won't be for long at this rate. Over the last year it's dropped from 794 to 783 to 779 to its current 768. Once it hits 750, it becomes just "good." I'm doing everything I'm supposed to be doing to raise my score, so why is going down? I'm beyond frustrated and want to stop this train wreck before I end up with terrible credit. Help!
