consolidating credit card debt, with a personal loan.
15000 is the total debt between my spouse and I. We are both on the loan, the bank would only approve the loan if they paid and closed my credit card accounts. I know this is not good for your score, so how much of a hit will I take? My score was 740 before the credit cards got out of hand. I was out of work for a while and had to do what I had to do. I have never been late on any of my accounts, and with the high card debt my score dropped to 691. Will I still qualify for say a car loan if need be?
