Our Take

The MasterCard® Gold CardTM is a high-end credit card that even looks luxurious.

What to Like

Let’s start with the obvious: This thing is plated in 24-karat gold. That’s something to like. Cardholders also get access to a lot of perks, including a $200 annual airline credit, access to VIP airport lounges, $100 toward a Global Entry application fee and periodic luxury gifts that you’ll receive in the mail.

Look Out For

This is a high-end card, so cardholders will usually have strong credit scores. There’s a $995 annual fee and a $295 annual fee for each additional user.
