So I have been working hard in the past 6+ months to improving my credit as I did a number on it since I was 18 years old and then left the country for several years. I had 2 collections and 1 charge off on my report and I was trending in the mid 500s. I am currently in the low-mid 600s, which really isn't great but I'm happy to be moviing upwards. Anyways, I needed to book a flight for a family event and noticed that Delta was offering $50 credit for getting the card so I decided to give it a shot. Was given the instant approval with a credit limit of $5,000.

Well i got this card last october. at first i was excited knowing i have finally gotten in with Amex. but i soon realized that the 1 mile per dollar just was never going to work. i got my 30k miles after 1k spend. but since. very few miles. as nothing special for everyday items. Gas, Groceries. and things of this nature. i do plan on being exclusive delta flyer as i fly overseas. but this has yet to start. im using other cards. that offer 0 percent for carrying balances. although i have a 10k limit on this card. it is just not worth it. high apr. 19.24 percent. and low earnings rate. 2 miles per dollar even on Delta. no way. i would need to spend 50k a year on delta just to be able to get a roundtrip in the USA. no thanks. i will stick with my Venture card. Any airline any where. 2miles per dollar ever day purchase. but i still will keep my delta. just because of the credit lmit. thats why i gave it 3 stars.
