Why did my credit score drop 52 points in a month?
I am 24 years old. I bought my house when I was 21. I have had 1 credit card for about 2 years and only use it for small things and pay it off before it is due. I have financed 2 different cars in the past. my on time payments are 100%. I financed another car last month and applied for a second credit card about 2 weeks ago. That makes 2 hard inquiries in the past 2 years. My mortgage was just transferred to another mortgage company. On credit karma it shows my house loan has been closed. Would this be the reason my score dropped 52 points from 748 to 696? If so, is there anything I could do to dispute that? I don't think it is right for my score to drop like that just because a mortgage company changes.
