Bank submitted loan w/out approval, now have hard inquiry
Last year we were applying through our bank for a mortgage. It went really badly. Long story short, our loan officer submitted our loan application even though we did not give her permission. She had given us 1 phone call with further questions and we ended that phone call telling her we would e-mail her back all the information. We called her the next day to let her know we needed to make some changes to it beforehand (take my wife off the application and bring the amount down that we were asking for.) No response to 2 days until she called the 3rd to say it was submitted and declined.

Is there any way to get this inquiry taken off? I understand we were applying for a mortgage and that was our intention, but we also wanted to do so under the best circumstances possible and this woman took that away from us. Are we stuck with it?
