I started fixing my destroyed credit and got the Capital One secured card first.  Once I had that card for a year I got my credit up to around 600.  I kept usage below 30% and applied for this card and was approved with a $2500 limit.  I use it for everything but I don't leave a balance, I have it on autopay but I also login every few days and pay it off so that I don't risk having my usage above 30% at any reporting time.  I have received the introductory $150 for spending more than $500 within the first 3months and have been getting around $50 in cashback rewards each month, spending money paying bills and shopping for things that I would normally be shopping for.  I have had no issues with this card so far and would highly recommend it if credit karma recommends it.  They haven't steered me wrong yet.

I applied for the card in March 2017, was approved for $4,500 limit. I received the card in mail with a letter that stated my credit score was 724. 

I spent around $3,000 on the card. I never missed a closing date. However, before the first closing date, while on a business trip in Chicago, I tried to use the card for Uber, it didn't work. I contacted the customer service and they told me they will fix that for me with no problem and to call after 1 hour if ithe issue persists. After one hour with the issue unsolved, I tried to contact the Customer service again and guess what, the working hours was until 6 PM!! So, basically the person who answered the phone was just trying to get me off the phone to go back home (completely UNPROFESSIONAL)!!!

Anyway, I called the day after to find out that they blocked the card and currently reviewing the account. I asked why and they told me there is no specific reason for that and we cannot tell you anything before the review is over (they said it should take 10 days). I aksed if I can at least print my list of transactions, the answer was NO! I asked if I can pay my balance, the answer again is NO!! So, basically they blocked the whole account for no obvious reason without even missing a single payment.

After 10 days, I never heard back from them. So, I called and was told the account was closed and I will receive a letter in mail explaining the reason. So, they didn't even bother to call to let me know they have closed the account. After 3 days, I received the letter in mail and guess what the reason was: "You do not have enough credit score"!!!!!!!! Like seriously, you have issued the card one month ago and included a letter the my score was 724 and that is why I was given a credit line of $4,500!

My credit score was of course damaged because of a closed account after only 1 month of opening it. The Chicago trip was ruined because of these issues. Thank God I had my other credit cards on me, they saved me a lot of trouble (I will avoid mentioning the credit card names because this is not an ad.).

I visited a nearby Chase branch to pay my balance and that was the last time I ever visited Chase. I will never ever bank with Chase again. GO AT YOUR OWN RISK!
