TVFCU is a great place to bank. They are always friendly and helpful. I have been a member for over 5 years and would not dream of changing.

I have been a member for 3 years now and when I first signed up I was told I had to have a savings account open so that if I overdrew from my cehcking account the money would come out of my savings account as long as their was enough money in the savings account. Over the past year I'll admit I've had quite a few slip ups with things coming out before I had the money in the checking account but I always have more than enough in the savings account to cover the charges. When my car payment came out about 9 months ago it overdrew me by 10 cents, and I was charged $34 for the bank covering the charge. They removed it after I talked to 3 different people and refused to pay it. I also talked to them about how my savings account was supposed to cover any overdrafts and they said that there was a problem when I first signed up and it didn't register in the system and assured me from now on it would cover it. Since then I've had four more overdraft fees (two from a fraudulant charge which was refunded back to my account but the bank wouldn't remove the overdraft fees) and two that were my fault but I had enough to cover one charge but the bank decided to charge me overdraft on both charges because they took the highest charge out first instead of the lower one. I informed the bank twice more that the savings was supposed to cover and they removed one more overdraft charge but the lady quickly informed me that it didn't matter if it was their mistake or not that they would not remove another overdraft charge and that was my problem to deal with and not theirs. I threatened to leave but I eventually cooled down and just paid the charges and moved on because I have everything set up direct deposit and it's just a hassle to have to change everything... Well today I realized I once again had an overdraft charge and you won't believe it, it is for two cents!!! I am being charged $34 again for a two cent overage, and I have almost $600 in the savings account! I'm done with this bank and I wouldn't reccommend them to anyone!!
