No different than any other card! Helpful to 4 out of 4 people

Applied for the card with a 745 Credit score and was only approved for $1000, asked the representative why was the limit so low, when they state they give generous credit lines.  She stated that I can request for a higher credit line and it was approved to $4000.  I'll see how it goes for the next year, by not charging too much on it, but maybe have my netflix account, Transunion, and Experian reports charged to it monthly and pay the bill in full.  We'll see what they do after 6 months to a year with a credit line increase.

denied due to bankruptcy Helpful to 2 out of 2 people

If you've declared bankruptcy in the past 5 years, forget about any credit card from US Bank.  You can only get a secured card through them with an annual fee and a very low credit limit.  That's their policy.

FWIW; applied with a 650/660 CK.  I started out with a Capital One secured card last August (2014) and not long after was approved for a unsecured one through Capital One.  I then got a Barclay Rewards Card, Amazon store credit, then soon after I applied and was given a PayPal Rewards cc with a $2000 CL.

Take your time and rebuild, but don't bother with banks that don't offer credit after bankruptcy.
