Be aware of the fees Helpful to 4 out of 5 people

The card is good for rebuilding credit but be very aware of the monthly maintenance fee, and they won't do a credit line increase. It's my oldest credit line so another year and I'm done with them.

as everyone says, use it to build credit if needed then get a new one with better rates ECT as offers come in. Beware of their second card offer. It has the same fees ECT as the first one does. Instead of increasing good credit, they double charge for more of the same on a second card. Otherwise it works as it should if you are careful.

I had horrible credit. (530)
I got 2 secured cards, B of A, and Wells Fargo. I talked Les Schwab into giving me a $500 credit line. I used everything responsibily. I began to receive pre approved credit card offers, so I applied for, and received, 4 of them. 2 Capital one cards, 1 Merrick bank, and 1 premier card...continued to use responsibily, and not exceed 30% balance....

I have found premier to accept & credit payments promptly, their customer service was polite and informative (although, i didn't have an issue, just a question)

As for the FEES?

If you like the fact that they will give YOU credit, and if YOU are responsible, THEY report FAORABLY to the credit bureaus.

I happen to LOVE that.

2 weeks ago I was approved for financing on a home..

This card is ONLY for low credit people who are desperate for a credit card. You will pay both and annual service fee and a monthly service fee. The customer service is almost non-existant. I had this card for 12 years and no my credit is in great shape and I am restructuring. I called FP to see if I could upgrade or something to avoid the service fees and they said no. I told them that if i am not able to avoid the fees then they would be the first c-card i cancelled and the rep actually asked me if I wanted her to transfer me to the account closure department. So I said yes, closed the card and have never looked back. do yourself a favor and SKIP this card. Go with Capital One.
