Worst card ever! You've been warned!

This is the worst card I've ever had and the worst service - I haven't used my card in a year and am working diligently to pay it off. They send me a letter every 3 months lowering my credit limit to just barely over what I owe at that time. They keep running credit reports which is blemishing my credit score tremendously.

It's obvious I'm working to pay it off - I guess they want to make it even more difficult for me.

I promise you'll be sorry if you get this card!

Priceline trolling scam Helpful to 1 out of 1 people

I received an invitation to apply. I figured since they contacted me that I was pre screened to meet the qualifications. I was disappointed to learn not only that I wasn't pre screened but they also hit me with an inquiry and turned me down! My profile is 30% utilizations, no collections, no repos, no foreclosures etc.  and boy 18% debt to income ratio. I called the backdoor number and the analyst was friendly and attempted to override the turn down due to inquiries but no joy.

Bad business practices

I got an emailed invitation to apply from these clowns. I accepted the invitation only to get denied and get another inquiry hit on my bureau. These people should know when they target certain people whether they meet the qualifications or not. They should consider doing pre approvals instead of offers to apply.

Looks like I will be using my good reliable chase slate card. So far chase been the most reliable of all.

Very Happy With This Card! Helpful to 1 out of 1 people

I applied for this card a couple of years ago when buying a plane ticket from Priceline.  I have excellent credit, long history.  They approved me for CL$2500, which surprised me, but I really didn't care.  At first, I thought the 2% back was a promo, but have since realized I am getting 2% on everything.  I pay all cards in full every month, and they have raised my limit three times without my request.  Now, they offer partner gift cards for rewards redemption in addition to the statement credit option.  The choice is limited, but I regulary buy from Zappos, and they now have a $50 for a $60 card.  I will be using this card for ALL of my everyday expenses, except for the 5% cashback quarterly Discover categories.  I have not had to make any inquiries with Customer Service, as everything has been handled it has it should.  The website is a little weak, but that is not a deterrent for me.  You really can't beat the 2% back!  I am only giving 4 stars due to the website, and the short list of redemption options.

Horrible choice Helpful to 5 out of 6 people

I applied on Pricline to get $50 off "THIS FLIGHT" but when I applied and got approved, the $50 did NOT get deducted from the fare.  Instead I got an "error" page from Barclays.

When I attempted to call the phone number, I explained the entire situation and was told they couldn't help me. So I requested to cancel, but they couldn't do that either.  They gave me another number to call.

I called the 2nd number and the foreign speaker just prattled on about "rewards points" completely disregarding anything I said.  He said I would receive a $50 credit on the statement.  But he said the card couldn't be cancelled at that time.

So I had to wait until I received the card.  There was nothing regarding the $50 credit sent at all, and it didn't show on the statement.  The 50,000 "bonus" points didn't display either.  Nothing.

I called and cancelled the card and its 21% interest rate immediately.

Horrible customer service.  Doesn't follow-through with its promised promotions.

Avoid this card with its ill-conceived gimmicks.
