Wow, impressive - but apply directly

NOTE - APPLY DIRECTLY THROUGH the NFL Extra Points website for a 20,000 point sign-up bonus (=$200). CK only gets you $100! So, go double your take directly. CK has some great offers, usually comparable/equal to, or the best... but before you hit "apply" for any card here, do go surf the web for better!

I got approved in seconds with a 643 (Usually much higher, but I have high utilization right now since it's off cycle, showing at ~80% though I just paid everything off like I do every month... so I was not expecting instant approval). I do have decently high income - $80k. Note, they ask for PERSONAL income, not household. Somethign to consider when applying.

I got it for my other half - you can add an authorized user and they report on their credit as well. We're building his by sharing mine. Capital One does this as well, while others (my credit union, B of A, AmEx) do NOT do this.

Good luck.

Credit Karma, recommend NOT this card!

MY credit history with Transunion is over two years old. I have a perfect payment history. I am utilizing less than 25% of available credit. I have been approved for TWO new UNsecured credit cards (one with a $7K limit) with no annual fees SINCE I was turned down TWICE (I allowed them to do another hard inquiry this morning because my income is now $50K per year / was $45K first try) by Barclay Bank (this NFL offer). For Credit Karma to have alerted me that I had a "good chance" of being approved for this card borders on false advertising in my humble opinion or Barclay Bank deceived Credit Karma about its requirements. I will not respond to any more offers on this forum due to a loss of four points on my score for having done so.  I am not having problems getting cards on my own. To recommend a card that is harder to get than advertised does our members more harm than good. Members, you have been warned.

Our Take

The NFL Extra Points Credit Card is great for fans who are looking to earn rewards on team merchandise and game tickets.

What to Like

Benefits include earning 2x points on eligible NFL tickets and team purchases, and 1 point per dollar spent on all other purchases. Cardholders also get a discount at NFLShop.com and can get their favorite team’s logo on their card, so it’s a natural match for football fans.

Look Out For

Special rewards categories are limited to NFL-related spending. The NFL Extra Points Credit Card offers a 0% intro APR for six months on eligible NFL ticket purchases, which is great. This intro APR doesn’t apply to other purchases, though, so keep that in mind as you start spending.
