Denied in June 2015 with CK 628. CK odds were "Good". I do have some old CO accounts and recent inquiries from auto purchase/cc apps. Upon calling those were mentioned as a reason but mainly CS stated that my secured card payment history was not factored in and suggested applying for a unsecured card with a different company to establish payment history before applying in the future.

Surprised Helpful to 1 out of 1 people

I applied for this card on a whim and BAM! Instant approval for $500.  Interest rate is in the 20's but the instant approval is a rush!

Scores: 550's per CK and 600's (low) per MyFi

Couldn't Be Happier! Helpful to 3 out of 4 people

I have been rebuilding my credit since 2013 with financing a car, to getting a Secured Card through my bank in 2014 ($300 limit), to upgrading my car at the end of 2014, to being approved for an unsecured card in Feb. 2015 (currently $500 limit), to now being approved with Barclaycard making it my 3rd credit card. I got approved instantly. I had one big bad that was disputed and aged off last month and one charged off Capital One card that got sold to a collection agency which I'm currently disputing right now. My EQ FICO is over 630 with TU and EQ through CK reading at about 670. I was shocked to be honest I though I was going to get denied because couple hours ago I got denied for a Discover It card. Their reason? The charge off and "recent" collection account (which I'm now disputing). I keep my utilization under 10% and don't carry a balance so I'm not worried about the APR. Being approved for $1000 is more than a blessing. I'll take the recent hard inquires for a shot of approval because I know to build your credit you need to OPEN credit. Can't wait to get the card in the mail!

Not worth the effort Helpful to 2 out of 4 people

Credit Karma indicated I had a good chance of getting this card with a FICO score of 699 and 698.  I applied because I wanted to get some of my higher interest rates combined into one card, but I was only given a $500 limit.  In addition, the card they approved me for was not the same card I applied for because I don't have the option to transfer balances, and my interest is the highest rate they have.  This was definitely not worth another hard inquiry on my credit report, and takes me to 6 hard inquiries.  My income is $42,000, and I have a 6 year credit history with only one account in collections for over four years now.  I've refused to pay this Verizon bill because the company double charged me and would not take the charges off.  I have been in disputes with them for four years, and now they are saying I opened this account in 2013, so it hurts my credit and I'm having very little success in getting this fixed.  Anyway, the point being, my credit is not that bad, and I have other CC's with much higher limits and have a history of 6 years on time payments besides the Verizon account, so I don't think this card is all that great of a card to take a chance on.  I should have done more research, or just waited for my credit score to climb a bit higher before applying for anymore CC's.

Great card to start to boost credit Helpful to 1 out of 1 people

Applied for this card last night, instant approval for $1,300. Recently approved for a Cap 1 card last week for $2,000. Not to happy about low starting line however I've had a previous BK in 2011 and just starting to really get my credit back together. The APR is high @ 24.99 but I plan on using this strickly for gas every month and paying it off in FULL. Also, they have a very nice app! Looking forward to getting the card.
