should i get a loan?
i want to consolidate my debt, and use a loan to pay off my tuition, and some of my old car, (which, i didnt have gap insurance on, and now am upside down in my payments) but i have always heard really terrible things about loans and to never ever get them.

Loans are not going to fix your problems. It just moves it around. you need a plan to get out of debt fast. (budget, cut lifestyle, stell stuff, extra jobs)
