My score has gone down over the last few months, even though I've had ontime payments, etc too, and no real factors as to why it would go down from anything I did.
With that said, how old are your credit lines? You don't see a big positive impact until they are at least a year old. What is your average age of credit? What is your mix of credit?
There do seem to be thresholds for many pieces of the score that once you pass, it greatly helps your score, but be patient.
Also, what is your % utilization of your revolving credit? This is a big component, and if over 50% even on a single card, it can weigh your score down. You want to keep that at 50% or less on every card, and, at the same time, you want to be no more than 30-40% overall.

phnxangel if your credit score is going down clearly you are doing something wrong and are not in the position to be proving credit advice.
