I have a citi shell card. Would it help calling them, to get a non gas card?
I have had a Shell Gas Card for over two years and never had one late payment. I have been turned down for a few cards and was wondering if I called Citi and spoke with someone it would make it easier to get a Citi card since they could see I have paid the one on time.

It's been my experience that credit card companies are more than happy to tell you what offers they have available if you ask someone in their customer service department.
It definitely couldn't hurt to call and ask - you might be surprised how helpful they are!

I called Citi a while back and they recommended a different card for my needs. They parent company of a card doesn't want to lose you as a customer so if they can fit you into another card they're more than happy to do it. Give 'em a ring!
