This bank will scam you everyway they can. Aren't you suppost to be able to trust your bank with YOUR MONEY?!?! Well don't trust this one because they don't have your back.

The summit credit union in Rochester NY that I have been a member of for over 10 years is a heartless, uncaring institution. The are not about helping there members! I have had a hard time trying to get the hang of how the debit transactions work. I was charge d $32.00 for a courtesy pay of $1.12 and another $32.00 for $2.36. I use my summit texting to tell me the balance I have in my account. Just to find out that I really do not have that money. What's the use of having the texting future just to find out you really don't have that money! It's a rip off so that they can make money. I had 8 curiosity pays with the highest ,among I had debited was $22.00 which they charged me fees of $335.00. They would not even waive the fees for the $1.12 or the 2.26 that I thought I had when I brought a cup of coffee! I can't believe they would do this! They are a sorry credit union! There have been a lot of people that are not happy with there serves but I never thought that I would deal with something like this! I've had a home equity loan with them for over 10,000.00 dollars and this is how they treat me,! I'm done! They are the worst! I would not recommend to anyone to open an account with them because they really don't care about there members! I will not ever use them again!

I had some minor questions about my current motorcycle loan and decided to call their customer service line. The wait time time was around 5 minutes, which was to be expected during the middle of the day. Stephanie answered the phone and was incredibly helpful and proactive in helping me. Not only did she answer my question, but she also set me up with an online account (which is a bit more technical than your major financial institutions on-line setup; due to verification you have to call and answer a few security questions). I did not have to ask to be set-up with an account, she proactively asked, and in addition to that, she offered to assist me as I created the account! A+ service. This was the first time I called in, and I am glad that I chose summit. Thanks again Stephanie.
