Poor customer service

payment due date fell on a holiday, tried to pay via their phone system and call was never answered, tried to pay online but password locked, called the number no one ever answered

lack of customer service and high fees

This credit union has lost it's way.  Their banking systems are worst (even though they upgraded).  They have poor record keeping in auto loans.  They collect fees and change account terms on you - bait and switch.  I transferred my auto loan with them and plan on closing all accounts in the near term.  I've had better experineces with larger banks than I've had with them.  I DO  NO recomend them to anyone.   See my recent note to their branch manager....    

....This goes back to my comments about being less a credit union, adding more fees, and loosing your way of customer-centric focus.  Over the past few years I haven't had a positive customer experience.  I'll probably be closing my accounts with Neighbors over the next few days.

Unlawful practices

Never ever use neighbors for any type of loan !!   They added insurance to my car without informing  I carry excellent private insurance during the entire loan.  Also add insurance policy to a 4 wheeler that of course does not require insurance !!!  So my monthly payments weren't being applied to my loan payments instead to insurance and late fees  I have spend countless hours trying to find out what they where doing to cause my account to not be paid  I got all my payment history and the insurance wasn't on statement.  Finally by accident, one of the new employees gave me the true "statement "and I uncovered the truth. My credit score has been ruined and I have been harassed  daily by their rude collections department.  Going in again on Monday to confront them!!

Service has gone down hill.

They let other members take money out of your account and the only this they say we can change your account number so they can't do that instead of have the guilty party held responsible. Money has been taken out of my account on at least 6 different occations, each time they state that anouther member forgot to put a number on there routing meanwhile I am spending 2 hours on the phone each time and the last time they said they could not put the money back in my account, after complaining several time they said they would put the money back in from a general account, welll that was 2 months ago and i still do not see the money in my accout.
