The worst and most UNETHICAL EVER!!!!

The most unethical financial institution that I ever heard of.  My car that was financed throught them was deemed a "Total Loss".  I had GAP insurance and it was to pay the balance between car's value and the amount owed.  They took FOREVER to file the claim with the third party GAP Insurer and expected me to make payments still on the loan, although I had no car and they signed the title to my auto insurance company.  They ruined my credit and are very nasty.  They did not cover the entire amount and say I still owe $500.00 but want $1000.00 to settle it.  I have Autism and this is very stresful for me.

They stole over $2,000.00 from me and have been making me pay interest monthly on the money they stole.  I have a car loan with them and accidentally found out that they had charged an extra few thousand dollars for "car insurance" even though I had car insurance.  They did not notify me of this at all.  They said they sent me a letter but they never did.  I have online banking and they could have added a message or even called me.  They could have sent me a certified letter as well but that would have been a way to actually contact me.  When I asked a customer service agent why no one contacted me she messed up and said "well then they couldn't have added thousands of dollars without your knowledge".   I have no idea if I'm the only person they have done this to but I'm guessing that this is some kind of common practice.  Disgusting that you would treat customers this way.

I've been using this bank for 15 years and yes, I have screwed up a few times and had overdraft fees. A financial institution is not responsible for paying our bills when our money isn't in the account, so I'm not sure why other people feel the need to blame members 1st for their own errors. I deposit all my check electronically and they are processed quickly and efficiently. I am always greeted with a smile when I go to a branch location. I love the online banking and use the app daily. I've had 5+ loans and have never had any trouble setting up ongoing payments. I love everything about this credit union and would recommend it to others.

Not customer focused.

When issues arise, they just charge you more. If you over draft because of an error in another company's auto pay system, you can't get that fee removed. If you want to stop an auto pay from going through you have to pay 30$. Again, even if it wasn't at all your fault but another's. Neither will work with you to fix it or reduce penalty. This has happened five times over the past five years. It's not an account I regularly use. I plan to close it asap.
