Wasted my time and cost me dearly

I applied for a business property loan.  Without going into gory details, the agent lead me on for weeks and weeks.  I needed an answer so I could make an offer.  Finally. he said the income wasn't enough.  I have a high credit rating and no credit card debt and plenty of disposal income.  The answer was preposterous.  The thing that is really causing me to write this is the fact that they could have saved me a lot of time by letting me know a lot sooner.  I gave them all financials weeks ago.  They had no sense of urgency whatsoever.

I dont recommend this company to anyone. They are a racist company that in the beginning I thought would be a help place to do business. THEY ARE RACIST and dont care to let you know they are.

Most unorganized bank in the world

This bank should be given an award for being the most unorganized bank in the world.  Downloading your transactions to quicken will, more often than not, return an error.  When it does work expect you can expect it to be incorrect or maybe just missing transactions that will appear in a future download.   When they announced they would do mobile check deposits my wife and I laughed and laughed.   As a joke we tried it with a $6 rebate check I got in the mail.  10 days later they've charged me the 50 cents to use mobile deposit but the $6 is no where to be seen.  If I attempt to deposit the check manually and it finally does clear through IMCU then I'm sure I'd be in hot water.   

Let me say, however, the humans I deal with at my local branch are competent and friendly.   It's the whole technology arena that they just can't seem to get right at all and it's obvious they subcontract this out to some company.  They need to fire that company and hire a competent one.

Was great, now horrible

I've been with IMCU for 4 years and thought they were great but since the computer system / security system change a few months ago I'm at my wit's end.   The smart phone app balance will differ from your online balance which will also differ from your quicken download balance AND that will differ from what your balance REALLY is at the teller window.   It's a complete and total disaster.   

Showed one teller how the phone app shows a different balance than what her computer system showed.  She just smiled and said that online balances might not be always current.  LOL   Time to find a new bank.

I was with IMCU for 30yrs and I agree with your statement " thought they were great but since the computer system / security system change...".  The tellers are great, it's the upper managemnt that has ruined this credit union.

refinanced my car loan from 20.5$ down to 4.9%! imcu could not have made the process easier. i am changing all of my banking over to them very shortly.

They just went south

I have been with IMCU since mid-1980's. The service and options were great, until very recent. The tellers and loan officers are very friendly and helpful. However, IMCU has made a change in their branch security system. When I contacted Mr. Newton to discuss the changes at my branch, I was told "to go pound sand"! He told me that he would not discuss the change and it was none of my business. I guess they have just grown too big. Well, off I go to a friendlier CU.
