Anonymous Account Holder

Absolutely awful online setup. Making payments from an outside bank account is nearly impossible. You've got to pay through Bill Pay for the first three months and it's really, really annoying. The money has to be transfered so many days in advance and it doesn't always show up in my AFFCU when it's supposed to. It's ANNOYING and they need a better set up. Website is awful, their whole situation needs an update.

Anywhere But Here
Anonymous Account Holder

Anywhere but here, especially for auto loans.

If you want control of your money, meaning pay your payment when you know you have money in your account, usually after you get paid from work, then this place is not for you, they absolutely will not  mail you a statement under any circumstance.

They also make it so you can't pay your auto-loan from your regular bank account, you have to make an account with them and pay it through that account only.  So you already use two direct deposit accounts you will have to drop one to make sure you put money in their account to pay your loan.

Getting an auto-loan with Air Force Credit Union was hands down the worse financial decision I have ever made in my entire life.

Be Warned - You Will Regret Doing Business with them.

Great customer service

Love their customer service. And I was approved for a new car auto loan rate at 1.74% APR! Couldn't be happier!
