Public Records : Tax payment defaulter
I have 2 public records on my credit history. each for not paying the state taxes for UTAH. But none of them are true because I had never been a defaulter in paying taxes. I had called up the IVR to discuss about this. They told me that the TAX department has deducted less tax from me by mistake and so they had to recover those taxes from you. But they were not able to recover because I was out-of-United states for a period of 2.5 years due to job loss. Please advice how to manage this situation. I am back in USA and staying here since December 2012. I seriously want to wipe-off this public records from my credit history. Thanks in advance.
