Disappearing Bankruptcy
I am beginning to research how to dispute some entries on my credit reports. I pulled my credit report and noticed that a bankruptcy that was discharged in June of 2010 does not show up on my reports. However, there are a few collections accounts on the reports that were in the bankruptcy. How should I handle this situation? Can't say that I am entirely upset about the bankruptcy not showing up but, some of those accounts were pretty hefty (that is why I filed). If I dispute the accounts cited that they were filed in a bankruptcy three years and the bankruptcy is added to my report how will it affect my credit then?
