Can't get my score out of the 600s
Hi all!
I've been a member of CK for about a year now, and I've found it to be a great tool for monitoring and planning positive changes to my credit. I am a little frustrated though as in that year I can't seem to get my CK score out of the mid 600s. Based on my CK Credit report card, I'm in the A range (16% utitlization, 100% on time, average history 11 years, no deragatory remarks etc.) for all items save 'Number of Accounts'. I've just finished Grad school and between student loans, Car loan and a handful of cards over the years I've got 11 accounts on my history, placing me in the 'C' range. Even though this is supposed to have a LOW impact, my CK report card gives me a 'C' grade, and my CK score has maintained around 660 for the year. What exactly should I do to get my score up? I'm hesitant to open more accounts, but could that be the factor holding back my score? Thanks and I apprieciate your time and input!
