Building up a very poor credit score
I have a very poor credit score and I'm trying to line myself up for credit offers and options to buy a home. My credit report has 6 accounts in great standing all my accounts are for secured cards. I would like unsecured cards but with my credit history there are a lot of collections and credit cards I didn't pay. Is there a way for me to build my credit up with the open accounts I have? All of the collections and credit cards on my report are about to come off the report as they are almost to the 7 years for all but one I'm only one year from them falling off my report the one that still has 4 years before it falls off is a credit card. Should I try to work a payment plan on it and let the rest fall off on their own? Any advice is helpful.
