21 year old with limited credit history help
Ok, I am 21 years old and I have a limited credit history. I have a credit card with a $300 limit and never use it. My credit score is 604 and I have one collections against me due to a problem with my insurance card that my dad has through his work. I have a 100% on time payments though. So How can I increase my credit score because I would like to get a new car sometime around august-december. Should I just start to use the credit card I do have and stay under like $90 a month and pay it in full every month when the bill comes? I just want to raise my credit score as fast as i possibly can to get the lowest interest rate possible and be accepted for a car loan of about 25,000 and I make $1250 bi weekly after taxes are taken out. Any other suggestions?
