More About Your Consumer Credit Report
With the FACT Act, US consumers are entitled to one free credit report once per year from each of the credit bureaus (Equifax, TransUnion, Experian). Consumers can access this information via AnnualCreditReport.com. While the government site is a great resource, it does have some limitations. First the site doesn’t provide a credit score. Second, the access is only good once per year for each of the bureaus. Most credit reports and scores change every 30 days. Lastly, the credit report information doesn’t easily correlate to a credit score or rating.
That’s the reason we created the credit report card. We try to address all three short comings with this tool.
- With Credit Karma, we always provide a free credit score to all our members.
- Most consumers want to track their credit over time, so we allow you to check your credit score every day.
- Our free credit report card was designed to help you correlate all the data on your credit report to that of your score in a simple way.
