i recently paid off all of my debt but my score is low should i wait for my credit to repair itself?

i no longer have credit card debt, only student loans and a car loan. how can i improve my score?

I assume you are current on everything now. In that case consider building some history and breadth. Get a secure credit card and use it sparingly. Easy step to improve history.

You don't need a secured card if you're able to get a regular card, and you should be able too if you've had other good credit. Your score should rise once the creditors begin reporting to the bureau which could take 3-6months. If you stay with no open credit for too long then your scores will begin to drop again.
