I want to be able to pay my debt but can't do so i will not be able to start paying on it until the month of November. Is it anyway that i can talk to someone dealing with this situation?

Contact your creditors and tell them exactly what you just posted so you don't fall into collection.

Go to your nearest Credit Counceling Service and have them help you, there are free counceling services so don't go to anyone that wants to charge you or give you a loan.

@amanda if the accounts are 7 years or older, and is for sure to a debt collection agency, you can dispute the charges on your credit report. what that does is forces the agency to provide proof of debt, if it cannot be provided within 30 days, the charge is then removed from your report. However be careful not to remove the all at once as this will leave you with no credit, which is worse than bad credit. try to save at least one if possible, possibly the one which is the less expensive of the 4. @ivory let the credit card company know if they contact you that they will receive payment in nov. if they don't contact you, it's not the end of the world, you aren't the first person to be late with a bill. Now you should know that this whole thing will hurt your credit score, but it all depends on how much you owe. now i don't know the circumstances of your injury and car accident, but usually there is a clause with your insurance company or if you are in lawsuit be sure that this is included in lost wages. another thing some people don't know is that depending on which type of home owner's or renter's insurance you have, there is a clause for unemployment or injury that they will provide assistance with bills. it is something to look into. other than that, try to pay off your remaining balance, and try not to use your credit card to much, maybe $50 a month at most just to rebuild your credit if it gets affected. nowadays the rule of thumb with credit cards is to only use it if you have the cash to back it up. in addition, it'll also be a good idea to put more into savings from now on, build up enough to where you can pay bills for at least a month or two should another situation like this occur, god forbid. i hope everything works out for you both!

I'd make saving money my 1st priority. Create a budget that allows you to sock away cash. Pay what you owe when you can. At 300/month, I'd go with hruffo8307 and try to find a better paying job.
