I've been searching for a means of raising my auto insurance score as I must switch insurance companies in the spring. I found this editorial originally from Consumer Reports and I wanted to share it, as no one seems to know what's in an auto insurance score. http://editorial.autos.msn.com/article.aspx?cp-documentid=435604 As far as I can tell, to have a good auto insurance score, you must have two major credit cards, no new accounts and no recent inquiries. I hope that helps.

Generally having a good auto insurance score is highly correlated to having a good credit score. Making sure you always pay your bils on time and showing that you are financially responsible should be the best approach.
