Great for Saving $ but poor limits

Exspect a credit card limit from $300-$3000, Kohls limit. Even with credit scores above 700 except to start with $1,000 limit. However, the coupons and discounts can save you a ton of money when shopping and as long as you pay off every month you are good. I always just pay off at same register and it goes towards account immediately, I am currently a MVC credit card holder and love the free shipping and 6 extra coupons given each year as well.

Getting charged 3 interest rate and so makes my interest on my card double dont ever get a kohls card unless you pay right off bc they will use what they can to rob you

Avoid at all costs

This was never a great card but they’ve changed systems and some processes. Was locked out of their online account portal with no ability to fix, the prior valid security questions etc suddenly weren’t recognized and chat Team nor phone support could do much. Had to rely on phone payments and even that ended up causing issues over a tiny remaining balance under $20 Lost 50 points on credit score over this nearly useless high interest card on a $45 purchase that was paid. Minimal value for maximum risk and the interest is awful anyway. There is no reason to purchase this card the interest charged for large purchases voids any saving and you can get coupons and pay cash for smaller purchases so why take a risk. Having too many retail cards isn’t good anyway better to have one for appliances or large home improvement items

The ONLY way to pay the bill on phone is with your routing number and account number. THEY WILL NOT EXCEPT DEBIT CARDS!

HORRIBLE. RUN!!!

Have had this card over 2 years. NEVER MISSED A PAYMENT! This month used IVR system to make payment per usual. Get a call 9 days NINE DAYS LATER. My payment is late, wth. Called was told can't use debit card anymore.... Got hung up on when ask to speak to SV. Call back woman takes my DEBIT CARD PAYMENT would ya look at that.. oh wait it gets better. Then tells me my next payment is $78 mind you my monthly minimum $27.. so eventually she agrees she waived the late charge but my monthly minimum still went up (and I'm sure still shows late on my credit report) So... I'm still being punished because their system FAILED! Horrible horrible. Customer service agents are rude and never give correct information every agent gives different answer for same question. Oh and kicker. They can't send you an email you cancelled your account. Or even that your payment is due or late apparently because I never got notice until the automated machine called my phone saying to please call them back.. I asked for confirmation my act has been closed They can only mail it or fax it.. but they email you 793936 times a month about sales.

This is hands down the worst credit card I've ever had, and I have many! They report payments late when made on time and do not communicate with customers, even though they will tell you they "tried to contact you." They are horrible. Do yourself a favor and avoid this card!

I used to have a positive relationship with Kohls, buit recently its been horrible. There customer service department is run by people who honestly dont care one drop for the customer!!!! They lock you out of your account now, even when youve changed your password. They report you instantly to the credit bureaus, even if it their mistake. I had paid twice in one month and they said I was late. When I called them, the customer service agent REFUSED to transfer me to a manager. I then with in 24 hours of the call had my credit hit with an over 30 day late which damages your credit. This was an act of retaliation on the part of kohls. Stay far away from this company, they are desperate for money and preditory now in their practices. Kohls cash just isnt worth destroying your credit. If Kohls stopped out sourcing its customer service, repected its customers, it could be a great company again. But now, It's puuting itself out of business.

Nothing is as advertised

On multiple occasions I've placed online orders only to follow up (on my own) and find out that the items never shipped because they are out of stock! Kohl's never bothers to provide updates or any sense of reasonable customer service. In addition, customer service claims they can't send me anything pertaining to the credit I'm owed. Kohl's is the most inconsistent and unprofessional retail chain I've ever dealt with.

DO NOT USE THE CARD WILL DROP YOUR CREDIT SCORE THET LIE TO YOU YOU GET THE CARD WILL NEVER GET THE CARD AGAIN ONCE PAID OFF WILL SHEARD IT

This company's customer service is horrible, while they promote you to take their charge card, they offer no service. They will give you very little credit. They will let the shop charge you more than the limit and if it goes over the limit they report it to the credit union. You could be making on time payments for years, you miss a payment they dont even try to reach you, they will just report it to the union as credit union. They gave some unknown practices that will drop your credit points 10 points a month if you use the card. They have no autopay setup in their app, makes you jump hoops to get it. Khols cash is a drama, the cash makes you to return the shop to make you buy more. I missed a payment 80$ once and 233$ the next month, because i work in ED and my wife is a hospitalist. paid everything including the interest and late payments as soon as I saw it, but they refused to takeout delinquent account report on my wife's credit report, dropped her score from 780 to 680. Other companies when you miss payments, they call you and dont report it immediately, the credit score report is for reporting willful negligence and not for reporting small mistakes. Anyone can miss a payment or two because you forget paying, thats not a criminal negligence. we have over 10 cards with many different accounts and it happens. So if you like to damage your credit for small side change coupons, open this account.
