A early payment isn't and on time payment! I get paid weekly and made multiple payments of more then the minimum and got hit with a late fee for not paying 30 dollars
on the exact due date.

WHEN YOU MAKE A PAYMENT ONLINE ON YOU CREDIT CARD YOUR PAYMENT WILL CLEAR YOUR BANK, THIS MEANS THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY IN THE BANKS ACCOUNT. YOU WILL NOT GET THE MONEY CREDITED TO YOUR CARD ACCOUNT FOR AT LEAST ONE FULL WEEK AFTER THEY TAKE IT OUT OF YOUR ACCOUNT. THIS IS NOT RIGHT, IT DOESNT TAKE A WEEK FOR A THEM TO CREDIT YOU. BE CAREFUL THIS IS THEIR LOUSEY POLICY

Very petty. Can help improve your score

I got their prepaid card as I had always lived debt free and had absolutely no credit score at all at age 38. When I went to buy a car no one could finance me without a fico score even though I'd never ever had a late payment anywhere. So I ended up with this card. Payed everything on time immediately and did not pay any finance charges. Still ended up paying steep fees for monthly charges and annual charges. Also a fat fee for every credit limit increase they gave ($35 to 50 per increase every few months) They constantly tried to get me to open additional accounts with them for unsecured cards which had horrible terms (by this time my scores were in the 680 to 720 range on average) but I kept turning them down and eventually I just canceled the card because I got other better unsecured cards. I guess it served its purpose but boy it wasn't cheap. Oh, and the one time my card number got hacked making an online purchase and someone made charges on it overseas they treated me like a criminal and made lots of accusations against me and then forced me to pay $35 for card replacement. Then it took forever to get the new card which caused my payment to be a few days late (the account number changes to the new card number so I had to wait for the new card to pay as they changed the account number) and then they threw another $30 in late fees on top of it and shut the card off and left me stranded without a card that could be used. Called me daily and were super nasty about it even though I'd never made a late payment in over 2 plus years and they were still begging me to get additional accounts/cards with them. Overall I'd say use at your own risk!
