Paid on time, yet still re-poed vehicle.
Swampers67 Borrower

We were current on payments, yet while on vacation out of state, Westlake had our vehicle repossessed. They demanded full loan amount immediately, then sold the vehicle for more than we owed. Now they claim we still owe $3k! We sued and won, but Westlake still won't remove bad credit reporting.

So far so good...

We just purchased a new 2016 versa, this was the only company that would approve my wife and I. I had just voluntary repo'd my other car due to a 30% interest and $462 payment on an 2008 accord.... This one was $300 a month and my interest was 22.9%... so still high but lower than before and for a new car. Mind you my repo had already reflected on my credit, so I'm just thankful we were approved for anything. So far we've only made one car payment, we weren't able to make our first payment online, is my only complain thus far. They explained it was to establish the bank account saved on their webiste, so that made me feel good knowing it was to protect my account. I'd also like to add that In the first few days we questioned going through with the loan and we informed Westlake of our feelings, they were completely understanding and said we had 7 days to make up our minds. They didn't hassle us, weren't rude, they were very supportive. We couldnt get approved anywhere else and went with them afterall....
